New pages

I haven’t written a new post in a long time because I have been busy working behind the scenes on this site in my spare time.  I have created a new pages one for blogs I follow, genealogy societies, and I am currently working on one that will list libraries with genealogy collections.  At the top or in the side bar you can click on the page to view it.  Please let me know if you find broken links.  These sites tend to change their address every so often.  It is hard to keep up with all the changes.

I hope to start posting more often.  I retired from my regular library job in February.  I have been busy getting my house in order and then spring came and working out in the yard has taken up a lot of my time.

My Uncle died last October and I have been left to clean up his affairs.  So I also have been working on that.  All this has not left much time to work on this blog.  So now that things are starting to settle down.  I hope to post more often.

Even though I retired from library, I will be back in September and October to conduct genealogy classes.  I hope to expand and conduct more classes at other libraries and organizations.

Feel free to leave comments or contact me with your genealogy problems.
